Традиционный ответ на вопрос Адама основывается на предположении адептов старой школы, будто люди – это хладнокровные стратеги, а финансовые рынки – рациональны. Первая половина книги довольно интересна, рассказывается о наших повадках, животных подлые рынки и мозг ящера инстинктах и о мыслях, которые нас посещают в разных стрессовых ситуациях. Однако, прочитав далее, я начал сомневаться в полезности этой книги. Сначала автор в нескольких главах рассказывает о том, что жилищного пузыря нет и объясняет, довольно подробно, почему. Посмотрите когда писалась эта книга – как раз перед жилищным кризисом.

Отрадно то, что эти создания не появляются на поверхности в светлое время и между затмениями обычно проходят многие годы, поскольку планета имеет несколько светил. К сожалению, очередное затмение с его неизбежными гибельными последствиями ожидается всего через несколько часов. На каждой стадии работы над книгой моя жена Барбара Ли Смит оставалась моей верной сторонницей, и благодаря ее поддержке я работал с удовольствием.
